Shattuck Association
The North Shattuck Association was incorporated as a non-profit corporation
to administrate the property-based business improvement district (PBID)
established in 2001. The PBID was formed by a majority vote of area property
owners to improve and promote the North Shattuck commercial area. The
district includes commercial properties along Shattuck Avenue from Delaware
to Rose Streets, and on Vine Street from just below Shattuck to Vine Street.
The NSA provides district maintenance services, completes public improvements,
installs pedestrian amenities, assists area merchants, and does marketing
and special events, including the annual Spice of Life Festival.
