Winners Announced!
Congratulations to Alegra Figeroid & Zoe Turin of Berkeley, CA who took first place and $250 in the Chalk Art Contest at the Chocolate & Chalk Art Festival in the Gourmet Ghetto on North Shattuck Avenue last week.  Their chalk drawing, IXCACAO, which the 16-year olds worked on for over five hours, delighted the judges.  Alegra & Zoe are both are students at Oakland School of the Arts and were encouraged by their teacher to come to the festival and show their talent on the sidewalk.
